This tomb enclosure from the mid-19th Century from New Orleans has extensive zinc decorative detail and is a unique work of its kind in the country. Stabilization measures were taken to stop deterioration mechanisms. The masonry was restored to stop the settling of the rail and stress on its joinery. The rail was cleaned of loose rust and some staining and protected with wax to preserve its distinct two tone look.
