Vintage Metalwork, Inc., (estab. 1997), is dedicated to the revitalization of ornamental metalwork through restoration, rehabilitation, reproduction and new design. We use traditional metalworking means such as blacksmithing as well as the latest in metalworking technology. Our clients include institutions, restorers, antique dealers, contractors and private individuals. We work with design and museum professionals or directly with contractors and owners. In both our metalworking and cleaning and refinishing shops we offer solutions to those faced with what to do with existing metalwork regardless of its condition. When metalwork is too deteriorated to fully restore, we can reproduce original parts or reconstruct missing elements in our metalworking shop. We also have the ability to replace lost work entirely with new material or original custom design.

VMI Metal Custom Cleaning and Refinishing Services
Our state-of-the-art cleaning and refinishing shop gives us a full complement of services for the treatment of historic and new custom ornamental metalwork. We built these capacities in order to have full control over our restoration and custom work. We also welcome outside work from restorers, contractors and others needing custom abrasive cleaning and expert spray painting of metal items of all sorts.
